🎯 Purpose

The OrchestraHCM System Management Module provides centralized user, role, data library, memory, application and screen management. Each system is created with a subdomain name. Consultants can create one system or several different systems for companies. When the system is created, it comes with standard objects, applications and sample customizations.

Managed by System Management Module:

  • User Management - Users are created for employees who will use the system, roles are assigned.
  • Role Management - Screens and applications are accessed with roles. All necessary roles are created with role management.
  • Applications - Application and workflow applications are managed
  • Schemas - Algorithms are managed with schemas instead of writing code in OrchestraHCM.

System management will be available automatically when OrchestraHCM is first installed. It can only be used by users with ADMIN role.

📚 Concepts

Basic concepts that need to be known before using the OrchestraHCM System Management module:

User

Generally, it is the employee's email address. However, if the employee does not have an email address, another user in email format can be created. Users are authorized with roles.

Roles

Roles are objects that determine permissions. When the standard system is installed, there will be 6 roles: GUEST (Guest), EMPLOYEE (Employee), MANAGER (Manager), OMADMIN (Organization Management Admin), PAADMIN (Employee Center Admin) and ADMIN (Administrator). If you don't have a system yet, create a new system. When creating a system, enter basic information such as subdomain name, company name. When the system is installed, standard objects, applications and sample customizations will come automatically.
